Information used by the service
Shopify manages store accounts, checkout and payment processing. We use the Shopify customer identifier to associate your purchases, credit balance and saved generations with your account. Order and payment records include references, status, pack, amount, currency and relevant purchase contact information. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes on the generator server.
When you generate messages, we process your selected situation, tone, language, creativity level, optional context and the generated results. These are saved to provide your history and handle retries and technical problems. Support correspondence contains the information you choose to send. Security and operational records include request identifiers, timestamps, errors and network information recorded by hosting or commerce infrastructure.
Purposes and legal bases
We process account, order and generation data to fulfil our contract with you and provide requested pre-contractual features, including the free try. We retain and use relevant records where needed to comply with legal obligations. Our legitimate interests include protecting accounts, preventing fraud and misuse, diagnosing failures and handling complaints; we consider the impact on your rights. Where processing requires consent, it is requested separately and can be withdrawn without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
AI processing
Generation requests are sent to OpenAI through its API. We send the generation settings and the context you enter; we do not deliberately include your account email, billing details or payment credentials in the AI prompt. Avoid entering sensitive or unnecessary personal information, including information about other people.
Our requests use the API setting store: false. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default. This setting is not a promise of zero retention: OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs, normally for up to 30 days, with exceptions for legal or security needs. See OpenAI API data controls. Text is generated automatically; we do not use it to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Service providers and partners
Shopify supplies the store, account and checkout infrastructure; OpenAI supplies AI generation; hosting and email providers support operation and customer service. They receive data needed for their functions and may have their own legal obligations. Shopify also describes its processing in its Consumer Privacy Policy. For a purchase originating with an authorised partner, order identifiers and payment status may be shared with that partner to confirm the purchase; generated message content is not part of that payment notification.
Providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or other lawful safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data.
Cookies and similar technology
Shopify uses cookies and related technology for store access, customer sign-in, checkout, security and other store functions. The generator uses your authenticated account context to retrieve credits and saved messages. This version does not add advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts of its own. Shopify or subsequently enabled store features may use additional technology; any required consent must be provided through the store's privacy controls.
Retention
Generation history is kept to provide saved results while you use the account; the 180-day credit validity is not an automatic history-deletion deadline. You can request deletion by email. Relevant order, refund and support records may need to be retained longer for accounting, legal obligations or the establishment or defence of claims. Operational records are kept for a limited period according to their purpose. Backups can take additional time to be replaced after deletion. We limit retained data to what is needed for these purposes.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need to verify your identity and cannot delete records we are legally required to retain. Contact zentrylabs@proton.me. You may complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or another competent supervisory authority.
Changes
